The Cancer Network WA (CNWA) in collaboration with the WA Clinical Oncology Group (WACOG) at Cancer Council WA, is excited to announce its one-day symposium will return in 2025.

The forum will feature a range of expert presentations recognising the research, achievements and collective efforts of organisations contributing to care of patients throughout their cancer journey in Australia. This will be a complimentary full day event.

This symposium presents a unique opportunity to share insights, foster collaboration, and celebrate advancements in cancer research and care.

Attendees will have a chance to network with peers and participate in their topics of interests during the breakout sessions. We encourage all interested parties to join us for this educational event and hear about cancer care improvement initiatives in WA.

Information on the keynote speakers and additional presenters will be available closer to the date. In 2024, more than 30 expert speakers presented on range of cancer-related topics.

Information for presenters

Individuals and organisations are invited to submit an expression of interest to present their research or projects related to cancer care across a lifespan.

Submission guidelines

1. Presentations should be 10 to 20 minutes long and demonstrate alignment with the objectives of the WA State Cancer Plan or have received funding from the Cancer Network WA.
2. Please include a brief summary of your proposed presentation, along with your professional affiliations, a short biography, a headshot and contact information.

We encourage all interested parties to submit their expressions of interest and join us for this important event.
