Partnership Model
The Partnership Model was co-created over 18 months with consumers, carers and staff from NMHS through a series of workshops, forums and engagement activities.
The Partnership Model significantly contributes to NMHS achieving two of its Strategic Priorities (Empowering healthy communities and People-centred care) and was created to provide guidance on ways to work together to design, deliver and evaluate health services to enhance the patient experience. During its development, participants chose the name Partnership Model to reflect the philosophy of authentic and respectful collaboration.
The new Partnership Model provides the strong foundations needed to support consumer engagement activities across NMHS and is designed to evolve and continuously improve as we evaluate and learn from our experiences working together. It is underpinned by shared principles of safety, authenticity, humanity, equity and diversity.
