The North Metropolitan Health Service is in an exciting period of transformation and seeks motivated and caring individuals across all fields to benefit the delivery of care across it’s sites and services now and into the future.

We are currently developing capacity and capability to meet the health and wellbeing challenges faced shared by all health care providers including an ageing population, high levels of chronic disease, increasingly dispersed population within the catchment and high Aboriginal population with significantly poorer health outcomes.

We employ approximately 10,500 people comprising:

  • 3,300 Nurses and Midwives
  • 1,400 Medical staff
  • 2,600 Allied Health staff
  • 1,700 Administration and Clerical staff
  • 1500 Support staff

  • Access to generous salary packaging arrangements (eg hospital-based workers can salary sacrifice up to $9,050 of living expenses including rent or mortgage payments annually)
