Congratulations to the NMHS employees who have been selected to participate in the 2022 Aboriginal Leadership Excellence and Development (LEAD) Program and the First Steps Aboriginal Leaders Program.
Aboriginal Leadership Excellence and Development Program
This program is delivered by the Institute for Health Leadership in partnership with the Aboriginal Health Policy Directorate and is designed to proactively manage and prepare talented high potential Aboriginal staff for senior management and executive positions in the WA health system.
The NMHS nominees for participation this year are:
- Naomi Nelson - Project Officer, Metropolitan Communicable Disease Control
- Storm Motohata - Workforce Consultant, Aboriginal Employment , QEII NMHS
First Steps Aboriginal Leaders Program
Also delivered by the Institute for Health Leadership in partnership with the Aboriginal Health Policy Directorate, the First Step Aboriginal Leaders Program is designed to provide mid-tier Aboriginal employees with a developmental pathway and act as a talent pipeline for future learning and leadership opportunities.
The NMHS nominees for participation in 2022 are:
- Samuel Garlett - Aboriginal Mental Health Officer, YouthReach South
- Jay Ryder - Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer, SCGH and OPH
- Roberta Mongoo - Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer, Metropolitan Communicable Disease Control
- Kelvin Coleman - Aboriginal Liaison Officer Mental Health, NMHS
